The general MBA eligibility criteria is to score minimum 50% or above or an equivalent CGPA in graduation from a recognised university. Students from any streams or disciplines are eligible to pursue an MBA. There are some exceptions, like IIT Kharagpur require students to do a 4-year bachelor’s degree. There is no upper age limit to pursue MBA but certain MBA exams like ATMA require the student to be 21 years of age at the time of the exam.
MBA can be done after graduation. Additional requirements apart from fulfiling general MBA eligibility criteria includes work experience (in case of Executive MBA and MBA Abroad), entrance exam cut off, and performance in group discussion and personal interview round; all of which are subjective and depend on which MBA college a student is aiming for.
